Ecosystem Diversity
CCHDD
Hemmingford is rich in the diversity of its ecoystems, both woodlands and wetlands, that are home to an abundant biodiversity of fauna and flora. These are invaluable assets that must be protected for our well-being and that of future generations.
Here are some tools and information made available to us to help do our part.

THE MONTEREGIE FORESTRY AGENCY, manages a private forest development assistance program. This assistance program allows an owner of forest land of at least four hectares, financial assistance for forest work. This assistance reaches an average of 80% of the value of some forestry work. An owner can receive up to $ 30,000 per year in financial aid. The owner is required to acquire its forestry producer certificate.
