Burger Bob – 613 Route 219, 450 247-2624
Did you know that Burger Bob’s restaurant was featured during 2014 on the program Sur le Pouce on the Evasion channel? Benoît Roberge, the host, could only rave about the three double beef hamburgers which he enjoyed there.
Whether or not you are a regular visitor to this restaurant, you will appreciate the changes which Erik Jacobsen, known as the Viking, has made since becoming owner in 2011. For example, the addition of a covered and heated terrace big enough to accommodate 45 extra places. Also, many more delicious family-type meals have been added to the à la carte menu. The dishes are wholesome, the portions generous and the personnel welcoming.
Any day of the week you can enjoy a hearty breakfast from 5.30 am and appetizing evening meal until 7 pm in winter or 9.30 pm in summer.
Le Café Hemmingford – 475 Frontière, 450 247-0009
Yves Saint-Hilaire, the owner of Le Café Hemmingford, is passionate about cooking. He favours fresh, locally produced foods on which to base his healthy, inspiring dishes. We have only to think of his delicious cream of carrot, his tasty paninis or his generously-served Sunday brunch.
The open kitchen, impeccable cleanliness and display on the walls of paintings by local and regional artists all contribute to making the restaurant a welcoming and friendly meeting place. One of the best kept secrets in Hemmingford, is that Yves often organizes dinners with themes according to the season.
Openng hours are Monday to Saturday from 8am to 2pm and on Sundays from 10am to 2pm.
Please note : closed Saturday in winter and January 1 – 25, 2015, for holidays.
