Variétés Hemmingford: Listens to its customers!  (February 2017)

In March of 2013, Faith Gower and Martin Tremblay bought this store from Gerald Smith, that is so well known by the people of Hemmingford. Four years later, they continue to improve on the interior layout and the choice of wares. They have maintained the original products of the business: mini hardware store, paint, work clothes, boots, household items, etc. And they have added seasonal goods, like Christmas decorations, items for the swimming pool and creations from our local artisans. To liven up the place and add a little colour, you will find a large inventory of items for birthdays, like helium balloons, greeting cards, decorations, wrapping paper and TY plush toys. They have also become distributors for MF Paints, a Quebec brand that they are proud to represent. Other interesting products they carry are: pet food of all kinds, prepaid cards, and very soon you will find a display of goods on sale.

Faith and Martin have a wonderful sense of customer service, which they are passing on to their children, who help out at the store. “Our dearest wish is to prove to the people of Hemmingford that it’s not necessary to drive for miles to find what you need. If we don’t have it, we will be very happy to order it for you. When people buy locally, the money circulates within the community, which creates wealth here.” In their desire to serve you well, they are open to new ideas; so don’t hesitate to offer suggestions to them!
